Why look inside the pipe

Without a camera, finding a sewer problem is educated guessing, and guessing can mean digging in the wrong place. A camera lets us see what's blocking the line, how far down it is, and whether the pipe itself is in good shape.

It also answers the question people usually care about most: is this a drain cleaning problem or a repair problem? Sometimes the answer is hydro jetting instead.

What we can spot

Tree roots that have worked into a joint, grease and scale buildup, offset or sagging sections, cracks, and objects that got flushed or dropped in. We can note where along the line each one sits.

If you're buying a house with an older sewer lateral, an inspection before closing can save you from a very bad surprise afterwards.

After the inspection

We walk through what we saw and what, if anything, needs to happen. Sometimes the answer is just a cleaning. Sometimes it's a spot repair. You'll have the facts to decide.

Where we provide sewer line camera inspection

We cover Philadelphia, Bucks County, Montgomery County and New Jersey, and we're open every day from 8AM to 10PM.

FAQ

Sewer Line Camera Inspection: common questions

Do I need a camera inspection or just a cleaning?

If the clog keeps coming back, several drains are affected, or you're buying an older property, the camera tells you far more than a cleaning alone.

Will you have to dig?

No digging for the inspection itself. The camera goes in through a cleanout or an accessible opening.

How long does it take?

Most inspections are completed in about an hour, depending on access and the length of the line.

Can you inspect before I buy a house?

Yes, and for older homes it's worth doing.
